Founded in 2018 by Golden Lampstand Baptist Church, LUCA was created in response to the needs of our own families and the broader community. We envisioned an education system that blends strong biblical truth and values with future-ready international education.

Life Coaching & Real-World Inspiration At LUCA, learning goes beyond textbooks. We provide life coaching sessions designed to help students understand themselves, set meaningful goals, and navigate personal and academic challenges with confidence. In addition, we regularly invite professionals from diverse fields, entrepreneurs, artists, scientists, educators, and more to speak with our students. These real-life voices give our learners a broader worldview, ignite aspirations, and equip them with insights and inspiration to grow, lead, and excel among their peers.

Global Mindset, Local Roots Although LUCA is run by our church, it offers a globally relevant curriculum. Our Story

In 2013, Malaysia set its sights on the promise of 21st-century education. It was a bold vision. Yet for many educators, the road proved far from smooth. Efforts to embrace this new approach were often met with isolation, inadequate support, and the quiet weight of feeling unseen. We refused to accept that this would be the end of the story.

We made a deliberate choice: if the true essence of learning was fading, we would reignite it ourselves. We looked beyond our shores, listening, learning, and drawing wisdom from institutions around the world. Through deep dialogue and reflection, we uncovered timeless truths about what education is meant to be. In the midst of our search, one conviction stood out clearly: education is life impacting life. Education is not merely the transfer of knowledge, but the transformation of hearts, the shaping of character, and the awakening of lifelong purpose.

Our journey to redefine education was not straightforward. It felt like navigating through dense fog. We stumbled. We faced doubts. We endured setbacks. Yet we persevered. Step by step, clarity emerged. What once seemed distant began to feel attainable. We refined our systems, aligned our plans with our vision, and realised that what we hoped for was not only possible, but within reach.

I would like to thanks LUCA Academy to help my son, Chai Jia Le to build his confidence and responsibility. He is more independent and cheerful, and he is willing to help to do housework. Now, every morning he wake up by his own, eat breakfast and wait for transport without accompany, he also washes his clothing by himself. But still got lots to learn and I hope he will gain more knowledge from LUCA.

99% of students say that they are bored at school. But I see the LUCA differences among the schools. LUCA can provide both enjoyable and educational for students. We transferred Joshua to LUCA was the right choice. Because we see that he is becoming interested in learning! Joshua will tell us that the teachers use creative teaching methods to provide students with interactive learning opportunities. He loved the nutritious brunch provided by the school.
